Why is it that so many people say that the first thing they will do upon retirement is travel the world? Maybe it’s because they have longed for it, missing out while they were caught up in their careers, or perhaps they feel it’s finally time to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
But what if they have missed out on something even more valuable — the rich experiences and personal growth that travel can offer during their careers?
And who says you can’t combine a love for travel and wanderlust with a thriving career?
Whenever people visit my Instagram travel diary they often assume I’m a full-time traveller. While travel is one of my greatest passions, I’m also deeply committed to my corporate career. I love being able to enjoy the best of both worlds.
The key is not to let one passion suffer because of another. With the right strategy, time management, discipline, and resource allocation, you can pursue all your interests head-on.
